I was born in NC about 100 miles inland. My family bought a vacation home near Ocean Isle Beach in 1962 and later a beach house on the island. Over the years there were many, many trips and vacations in this area. Then about 15 years ago I began investing in real estate in this area with a plan to make this my permanent home once I finished my career in the chemical industry.

I spent the last six years of my career in Asia (Indonesia then Hong Kong) making an annual pilgrimage to my beach house at Ocean Isle. While in Asia I made additional property purchases in Brunswick County. I returned to the US from Asia in 2002 and permanently moved to Sunset Beach.

I completed the Real Estate basic and broker courses and became a Realtor in 2004 licensed in both NC and SC. My history and knowledge of the area as well as my experience in investment property buying have been most valuable in successfully defining and finding the right property for clients. I am certified as a Senior Real Estate Specialist.
 
I am a graduate of NC State University and attended graduate school at The University of SC, a combat veteran of 5th Special Forces Airborne in Vietnam and an Eagle Scout. I am a member of New Beginnings Community Church in Shallotte, and am a coach and serve on the Board of Directors for Shallotte Youth Soccer.
